PEANUT BRITTLE

PEANUT BRITTLE

Ingredients: ½ C. butter or margarine 1-1/4 K. sugar ½ ganta peanuts, roasted

Melt butter in a pan; add sugar slowly stirring constantly until dissolved. Heat until mixture thickens and takes a rich caramel color. Add peanuts (ground through meat grinder) and cook until thick, mixing well. Pour mixture into a well greased shallow pan, marble slab, or table top. When cool, cut into serving pieces.
