BUKAYO

BUKAYO

Ingredients: 1-1/2 K. sugar 2 C. water 3 medium sized coconuts; grated Powdered anis

Dissolve sugar in water and allow to boil until a light brown caramel syrup in formed. Add the grated coconut and cook until the mixture forms a soft ball when dropped in cold water. Add anis. Spread on a sheet of waxed paper until cool and firm. Cut into serving pieces.
